Me: A Writer

I never saw myself as a writer, not yet at least. I have created and wrote a few blogs. I wrote for a newspaper during my internship. And now, I'm writing e-mails. I have not really wrote for a few bad years and at this moment, I really want to go back to writing.

Writing has always been in my way of life. I enjoyed writing when I was a kid. Even more so when I became a teenager. I wrote sappy stories and kept a diary. All these scenes that I couldn't get out of my head and the moment I write them it's like they came to life. All these emotions that I thought that if I wouldn't be able to write it down, I would go crazy. When I began to not have much time, I resorted to short prose and poems. Those kept me sane for a couple of good weeks. I believe that I cannot get writing out of my system even if I wanted to.

At first, I wanted to be a novelist and every time I read a good book I would think to myself that I want to be able to write like that too. Then, I began writing content for blogs and that is something that I want to keep on doing and work on. I have been told that I was a good academic writer back in my university days and I would want to go back to that as well. I have done a bit of marketing also and business writing is something that I want to explore and excel in.

The important thing about writing is about the message that you want to send to the world and I want to keep that message in mind and work on how to tell it. A storyteller, a journalist, a content writer, I think it's all about the message. And for myself, I want to keep on working on my composition, my construction and my tone to be able to effectively express these messages.
